The new addition to your closet in autumn/winter 2010 must be the timelessly classic camel coat.  This season the catwalk has shown various different takes on it and we can’t wait for them to hit the high street!
The luxurious camel colour suits the majority of skin tones and is a fabulous alternative to black, which can be draining.  Another benefit is that the contrast with other colours is more subtle, making it very wearable.
The camel coat can be tailored, belted, double breasted, cropped or indeed any of the possible new ideas ready to be borne from the catwalk.  Choosing the style of coat will depend on when you want to wear it.  For office wear, the Crombie style camel coat with a silk scarf provides the smart, classic look.  A glamorous look can be easily achieved by wearing a three quarter length belted camel coat with a pencil skirt and towering heels.
If you have an athletic of boyish figure, the cut of a cropped military camel coat will add those curves.  If, however, a lack of curves is not a problem for you then a longer length camel coat will skim over your stomach, hips and thighs and can hide a multitude of sins.  A belted camel coat will also help to create a waist to provide that hourglass figure.
